Know the time anywhere on Earth
WorldTimeWise is a free world clock, time zone converter, meeting planner, and date calculator. Every result is computed live from the IANA time zone database — the same authoritative source used by operating systems worldwide — so daylight saving time is always correct, for past, present, and future dates.

Why trust these times?
Time math is trickier than it looks. Daylight saving rules change by government decree, months have uneven lengths, and parts of the world sit on half-hour and 45-minute offsets. WorldTimeWise handles all of it by computing from primary sources instead of fixed offsets:
- Time zones come from the IANA Time Zone Database, updated several times a year as governments change their rules.
- Sunrise, sunset, and moon phases are calculated with published astronomical formulas for your exact coordinates.
- Date calculations run in original, unit-tested code — including leap years, month-end clamping, and ISO week numbering.
Everything runs in your browser or is pre-computed when the page builds. There is no account to create and nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
What time is it right now?
The clocks at the top of this page show your local time and UTC, ticking live. For any other place, open the World Clock or search a city — every time is computed from the IANA time zone database, so daylight saving is always accounted for.
How do I convert a time between two time zones?
Open the Time Zone Converter, pick the two places and the date and time. The converter applies the daylight saving rules in force on that exact date — including historical and future rule changes — and shows the converted time with its UTC offset and abbreviation.
What is the best time for a meeting across time zones?
The Meeting Planner compares working hours in up to ten locations on a date you choose and highlights the slots where everyone is normally awake and working. You can copy a shareable link or export the meeting as a calendar file.
How many days are there between two dates?
Use the Days Between Dates calculator. It counts from and including the start date up to but not including the end date — the standard convention — and also breaks the result into weeks and months.
Does WorldTimeWise account for daylight saving time?
Yes. Every conversion, clock, and calendar on this site uses the IANA time zone database, which records every daylight saving rule change worldwide, past and future. Ambiguous and non-existent local times around DST transitions are flagged instead of silently shifted.
Is WorldTimeWise free?
Yes — every tool on this site is free and works without an account. Your settings stay in your own browser; nothing is uploaded.
